Chenhao LIN Lin

Hi everyone! My name is Chenhao, and I’m running to be your Academic Representative. Today I would like to share why I‘m a strong fit for this position and what I'd hope to accomplish.

I’m running for this position because I enjoy helping others and improving our learning environment. The second reason is that I have solid experience in communication and organization. I've served as a grade representative and a member of the student union in high school. This taught me how to coordinate with both students and teachers to organize events and solve problems. Also, I was the school magazine club organizer, improving my creativity and ability to manage ideas. Currently, I’m the floor representative in Southside, where I've learned how to improve communication between residents and hall committee.

If I am elected, here are some policies I want to implement:
1. I plan to design a multiple feedback system, including an online weekly anonymous feedback form and a voluntary in-person meeting each week. Students will be free to choose whichever way they feel most comfortable to share their feedback with me.
2. I would like to set up a friendly study group where students can study together and help each other academically after classes. This will not only help us learn better but also strengthen our sense of community.
3. I will create an academic newsletter to share feedback results and useful study resources.
