Fern Prior

Hi I’m Fern and I would like to be your small yet mighty Yr1 Bioengineering academic rep. I’d like to think that I am approachable and I will make time to listen to everybody’s feedback ensuring it is heard by our teaching staff.

I’d love to represent our excellent cohort and be the student voice that advocates for the changes you all want to see. I believe, as in engineering, that the strength of our department relies on collaboration. That’s why, if I am elected as an academic representative, I will ensure that any changes we make are a collaborative effort and that all ideas—no matter how big or small—are heard.

This would not be a solo endeavour, it would be me standing for what you all would like.

And as in tradition, I will end with a cringy quote: This department is going to change like the sea levels… up, up and up….
