My name is Angel and I’m so excited to be running for the role of Year One Academic Representative! I’m truly driven to see that we all thrive academically this year, as we all deserve to do! If voted in, I promise to:

Post Weekly Anonymous Feedback Forms:

• I'm aware not everyone is confident enough to voice any concerns they may have verbally; to resolve this, every week I'll post a form link where everyone can anonymously and honestly express any concerns they may have!
• This form will be accessible to everyone! It will be posted on our Bioengineering group chat on Whatsapp.

Listen and Act upon ALL Feedback (even ''small'' concerns)!

• I believe it's important that all of our voices are heard, even if sometimes we feel that are opinions lie within the minority.
• When communicating our academic concerns to the department, I promise to disclose all comments shared to me, not just the most popular.

Keep Everyone Updated on any Departmental Changes!

• It's important to me that I'd act as a collective voice for our whole cohort.
• After meetings I have with the department, I will share and underline any important discussion points and changes.

Other than my passion for evoking positive change, I've had many leadership roles before (such as Head Student). I believe my past experience in acting as a voice for others, paired with my drive and work ethic, will lead me to being successful if voted in.
