Second year is a big step up in workload, complexity and expectations.

I’m running to make sure our feedback genuinely shapes how the course is delivered, and that communication between students and staff remains open and effective. Through my experience in labs, coding projects and research placements, I’ve seen what works well and where things could be improved. I want to help make our experience more organised, transparent and supportive.

I am approachable, organised and committed to following things through. I understand the challenges of this course and want to make sure our concerns are heard and acted upon fairly.

My Priorities:

1. Clearer Communication

• Keep everyone informed with short updates after meetings and surveys.
• Make sure student feedback leads to visible action.

2. Better Workload Management

• Push for improved coordination between modules to avoid deadline clashes.
• Raise concerns about workload balance early so they can be resolved.

3. Stronger Academic Support

• Encourage access to more worked examples and past papers.
• Support peer study groups and collaboration across the year.

4. Fairer Coursework and Labs

• Work for clearer marking criteria and consistent feedback.
• Ensure demonstrators and supervisors are well briefed and approachable.
