Hi, I’m Vanessa! Some could say I’ve played these games before - having completed first year once already, I know exactly what challenges we’ll face and how to navigate them. I’m running for Academic Rep because I want to use that experience to make this year clearer, smoother, and more manageable for everyone.
Here’s a little bit about me: I entirely adore cats, love eating good food and enjoy taking photos! I actually served as Academic Rep for my previous cohort, and I took the role seriously - attending every meeting, sharing your feedback, and helping reach quick, fair solutions with staff on issues like workload and expectations.
With my experience and genuine interest in improving our learning environment, I’ll make sure no concern goes unnoticed and every student feels supported. Think of me as someone who’s been through the highs and lows of first year and is ready to help make yours a little easier (and hopefully more enjoyable too). If Aeronautics is a big family, I hope that you will see me as your sister – here to listen to your concerns and celebrate your successes!
