Hi everyone, my name is Arnav Basal. Let me tell you all why you should vote for me.
- I will listen to all members of the society - Ever feel like a workshop was not engaging enough? Do you want someone that you can go up to and ask about how to progress your vascular career, no matter how stupid the question is? I have been in your position before, and having a friendly face to talk to is very important.
- Networking - I know a large subset of people join this society in order to reach out and connect with other like-minded people, as well as doctors in the field to gain invaluable research opportunities and knowledge. So if you really want a specific person to speak at a conference, please tell me directly and I will try my hardest to make it happen.
- Teaching - Vacular and transplant medicine is difficult; that's part of the reason why everyone likes it. I am a huge advocate for having lots of teaching sessions, masterclasses, and lectures delivered by experts in the field - as well as your fellow students.
In short, I would be very grateful if you voted for me - since I will strive to provide the leadership, direction, and support needed to help run this society smoothly. (I also got third best in Phase 1a btw)
