Hi All. My name is Anoushka.

I am excited to stand for Treasurer of the Transplant and Vascular Society. This society plays a crucial role in educating and inspiring students about two of the most intricate and life-changing surgical specialties. As Treasurer, I will ensure the society remains financially stable, securing the resources needed to deliver high-quality events, workshops, and opportunities for all members.

I have extensive experience in financial management and fundraising. As Treasurer of the Medical Women’s Federation and Fundraiser Officer for the Oncology Society, I successfully managed budgets, secured sponsorships, and ensured financial transparency. I will bring the same diligence and strategy to this role, helping the society grow and expand its impact.

My experience as Events Officer for the Respiratory Society has given me insight into the logistical and financial planning required to organise engaging and well-funded events. Additionally, my background in tutoring medical students for clinical exams and mentoring prospective students with ICSM Vision has strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, negotiate sponsorships, and manage finances efficiently.

If elected, I will work to secure sustainable funding, maintain transparent budgeting, and ensure financial decisions maximise value for our members. With your support, I will help the Transplant and Vascular Society thrive and continue to provide outstanding opportunities for students.
