I am excited to apply for the role of treasurer for the Vascular and Transplant Society. With a strong interest in vascular and transplant medicine, I am eager to contribute to the society by ensuring financial stability and supporting its growth.

Having worked in administration for nearly three years, I have gained valuable experience in handling payments, managing transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. This has strengthened my ability to manage funds responsibly and transparently. My role also required strong organisational skills, ensuring that operations ran smoothly and efficiently, as well as collaborating with colleagues to solve problems and provide the best possible service. These experiences have helped me develop the ability to manage finances effectively while working within a team.

If elected, I will ensure that budgets are well-planned, funding opportunities are explored, and financial records are kept clear and organised. I will also work closely with the committee to secure sponsorships and ensure that events are financially sustainable. By applying my experience and commitment, I hope to support the society in continuing to provide valuable opportunities for its members.
