Yichang Sun

Hi everyone! I am Yichang, a second year BMB student. I am running for Secretary because, with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach, I am confident in my ability to fulfill this role, ensuring continuous clear communication, effective promotion and outreach for events, and well-organised and smoothly executed event management.

I will be responsible for managing everything from logistics, scheduling, booking to member coordination and event promotion, supporting the society’s initiatives and adding value to its operations, effectiveness, and overall benefit to our members who seek support in academics, professional development, and wider opportunities of networking, skill enhancement, and personal growth within the biomedical field.

I will utilise my academic insight to further advance the society’s initiatives to be immensely impactful for our members, ensuring they are informed and engage in all communications and coordination via group chats, email, and social media. My ability to work efficiently and think critically under pressure and adapt to a myriad of duties makes me well-suited for this role as I will undertake a meticulous and proactive approach to ensure that the society is well-coordinated and resourceful for our members.
