Sophie Roberts

Hello sailors!! For those of you who I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet I’m Sophie, I’ve been a member of the club for three years now and this year had the honour of being Commodore. Next year I’m keen to stay involved with the club and committee but also give myself a bit more time for final year studies (boring I know…) so I’d love to take on the role of Training Officer. Having seen Peter deliver the theory course so excellently this year I’m keen to follow in his footsteps in our Thursday night sessions, and having had two years of working closely with Mark, who we charter from and organise courses through, I have the experience needed to carry on the execution of our successful and much enjoyed RYA practical courses. I hope you’ve all had a good year with the club so far and I'm looking forward to sailing with you again next year!
