Hi everyone I am Michelle, a fellow second year mathematician! Growing up in the countryside of Sussex, I have had the privilege of gaining gardening experience and as an enthusiastic nature lover, I am throwing my hat into the ring as Head Gardener.

Although Huxley building has been sadly deemed as the lesser good looking building out of the others, we can always freshen up the interior. By adding plants within spaces such as the MLC, Maths Common Room and Level 3 concourse, we can create a fresh, green working space so that you no longer have to venture out in search of other work spaces.

Vote for me and I will advocate to:

• Add more greenery - introducing potted plants, flowers and succulents
• Enhance our working environment - bringing greenery into common spaces and lecture theatres to liven up the atmosphere
• Take responsibility for plant care - making sure that they are well maintained
• Create a supportive and comfortable environment - everyone is welcome to put their input in to improve Huxley

Mathematics is abundant in nature, let’s cherish this and surround ourselves with beautiful examples of mathematics!
