Ved Sakhi
Hi everyone!
My name is Vedant, a 2nd year student, and I’m running to be Academic Officer for the ENT Society next year!
ENT is a fascinating and vital specialty, and I want to help make it more accessible and engaging for students—especially those in the earlier years. Our BRS teaching on ENT really sparked my interest in the field - the hearing and vestibular disorders lecture was my favourite lecture of the year, and I know how important structured, high-yield teaching is when mastering key ENT concepts for CPAs, OSCEs, and exams.
As Academic Officer, I would focus on running interactive lectures, revision sessions, and clinical skills workshops to help students feel confident in their ENT knowledge. I have experience tutoring and mentoring younger students, which has helped me develop the ability to break down complex topics in a way that’s clear, structured, and engaging.
If elected, I will:
✅ Organise high-yield ENT teaching sessions tailored to CPAs, OSCEs, and written exams.
✅ Run revision workshops covering ENT anatomy, pathology, and clinical cases.
✅ Provide hands-on skills sessions, including ear, nose, and throat examinations.
✅ Be a point of contact for academic support, ensuring younger years have access to guidance and resources.
I am genuinely passionate about ENT and would love the opportunity to support younger students in developing their knowledge and confidence in this specialty. Thank you for reading—I’d love your support! 😊
