Rohan Boyapati

Hi, I'm Rohan Boyapati, a Year 3 medical student at Imperial College London. I am running for Neuro Neuroscience Lead because I am passionate about neuroscience and its role in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders.

My passion for neuroscience was reinforced by attending the International Neurology & Neurosurgery Conference, where I learned about the latest breakthroughs in neuroscience research. This exposure to cutting-edge developments in the field sparked a desire to share this excitement with my peers. Neuroscience is integral to understanding a wide range of neurological conditions, and I want to help students engage with the latest research and its clinical applications.

Plan:

• Organize lectures and hands-on workshops that highlight the latest neuroscience research and its clinical applications.
• Promote neuroscience research opportunities to students, helping them find ways to engage with the field.
• Encourage collaboration with other departments, like psychology and biology, to broaden students' perspectives on neuroscience.
