Rohan Boyapati

Hi, I'm Rohan Boyapati, a Year 3 medical student at Imperial College London. I am running for Neuro Neurology Lead to help students engage with the exciting and complex field of neurology.

Neurology has always intrigued me due to its complexity and the variety of ways it intersects with other medical fields. Attending the International Neurology & Neurosurgery Conference provided me with deeper insights into both the theoretical and clinical aspects of neurology. This experience solidified my interest in neurology and gave me a clearer understanding of how I can help students gain the knowledge and skills needed to manage neurological diseases. As Neurology Lead, I’m motivated to provide students with the tools and knowledge to navigate this complex field.

Plan:

• Organize clinical case discussions that focus on real-world neurology applications.
• Invite neurologists to discuss both academic and practical aspects of the field.
• Promote elective and clinical placement opportunities in neurology for students to gain hands-on experience.
