Hi my name is Yesh and I would love to be your Conference Lead for Orthopaedics Soc!

I have developed a deep interest in orthopaedics after placements and teaching and would love to further grow this as part of Orthopaedics committee. I believe Orthopaedics Soc has potential to be one of the largest societies in ICSM and I would love to be a part of making this happen. With a strong passion for the future of surgery and innovation in medicine, I aim to elevate our society's conference experience, bringing together innovation, education, and networking opportunities for all members. Having witnessed the impact a well run conference has on member's experience, I would take the opportunity to build upon previous Orthopaedics conferences and work with my co-lead to run a memorable conference. My prior experience helping run SORA YRC, as well as being ICSM Orchestra Manager means I have had plenty of experience running large scale events and that I have the skills needed (leadership, early organisation and pro-active problem solving) to be an excellent conference lead and committee member.

As conference lead my aims would be to prioritise member engagement by gauging their interests, increase collaboration with other universities/ hospitals to elevate reach, create designated spaces/times for networking and discussions with speakers.

I am very excited at the opportunity to be a part of a conference that personally interests me and I believe that I can work with committee to run the best Orthopaedics conference possible.
