I have always had a special interest in respiratory medicine, with it being one of the specialities that caught my eye as something I want to work in. Being elected for the role of conference chair would mean a lot to me as I believe I can perform an effective job of organising useful, engaging conferences which broaden attendees' knowledge of the respiratory system from a more clinical perspective and also enable lots of networking and discussion. I will work closely with the rest of the committee to ensure that the conferences run as smoothly as possible and will aim to support the growth of the society as a whole outside of just helping with conferences.
