Ryhan Patel

Hi, I’m Ryhan, and I would love the opportunity to be part of the Right to Play General Committee! This society plays a crucial role in organising the biggest inter-London medical school event of the year, and I am eager to contribute my experience, dedication, and organisational skills to make it a huge success.

I have extensive experience in event planning, having helped organise multiple inter-university events, including the upcoming London Regional Dermatology Conference and an inter-London university teaching series. These projects involved overcoming logistical challenges, coordinating with various institutions, and ensuring seamless execution—skills that are directly transferable to Right to Play’s ambitious events.

A key part of this role is liaising with different groups, from curry houses to medical school sports societies and Infernos. I have experience handling complex negotiations and working with a wide range of people, both cooperative and difficult and I know how to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and ensure that all stakeholders work together to deliver the best possible event.

If elected, I will bring strong organisational skills, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset to the team. I am committed to making this year’s Right to Play event bigger and better than ever.
