Hi everyone,
I'm Sofia Hueffer, and I’m excited to run for Chair of the Economic, Finance, and Data Science Society!
Whether you know me already or not, here’s a quick introduction. I currently serve as your Year 2 Academic Representative and Undergraduate Business School Council Representative, so I’m well-versed in advocating for our cohort and making real changes happen.
I know this time of year can be stressful, with coursework, internship applications, and Spring Week deadlines piling up. I’ve been through it myself, and I recently secured a summer internship at Centerview, so I’d love to share my experiences and help make the process smoother for all of you.
If elected, I’ll work closely with the Events Officers and the rest of the society to ensure you get the support you need, whether that’s:
- More career-focused events and targeted application support, run by the society, not just the Business School, at the right time, when you need it most!
- More networking opportunities to connect with industry professionals and alumni
- More social events, snacks, and even trips across the country to balance work and fun
