Dhruvit Modi
Hey everyone! I’m Dhruvit Modi, a third-year medic, and I’m excited to run for Fundraising Officer for UNICEF on Campus. I’m passionate about global health and want to use my experience to support UNICEF’s mission of protecting children worldwide.
I’ve built valuable skills through various roles: I founded a fundraiser that raised £2500 for vulnerable families in India during COVID-19, served as Treasurer for iPRAS where I secured a £420 grant for new surgical equipment, and worked as a Sponsorship Officer for multiple conferences, negotiating funding and coordinating finances.
If elected, I’d organise simple, impactful fundraising events like bake sales and raffles, reach out to local businesses for small donations or event support, and promote events through social media to boost participation. I’d also work with the committee to explore small grants or university funding to support larger initiatives.
I’d be grateful for your vote and the chance to help UNICEF on Campus make a real difference. Thank you for reading my manifesto!
