KnitSock: Events Officer

Hi! I'm Nicole, a 1st year Chemistry student, and I'll be running for Events Officer for KnitSock next year! As someone who’s been crocheting for several years now and has introduced many friends to the fun of crochet through KnitSock, I’m extremely passionate about creating a safe and welcoming environment where both beginners and experienced crocheters can come together for fun and chill weekly sessions.

As Events Officer, I aim to organize a variety of events such as:

Summer crochet picnics: outdoor sessions in local parks during the warmer months
Movie and crochet nights
Themed crochet workshops: where we celebrate the holidays by crocheting themed festive projects
Crochet and music sessions

… and many more!

I’m committed to making KnitSock an engaging and inclusive place where everyone, regardless of how experienced they are, can have fun and feel welcomed :)
