Hi, I'm Daniel

Im excited to be running for Community and Outreach Chair.

I'm very keen on paediatrics and over the last year have been working with a paediatric intensive care consultant at St Marys to learn more about this particular field as well as working towards doing a project together. Alongside this, I have been a Play Team member over the last year and always enjoy the Tuesday evenings I spend on the ward.

In terms of community and outreach, one of the things I am most proud of this year, in my role as fundraising VP for Friends of MSF society, is reaching out and collabarating with Friends of Social Care for Columbia, a charity that works specifically to help disadvantaged children. This, along with reaching out to other external organisations as well as the public to raise both money and awareness for out events, is a skill I think has placed me in a good position for this role.

I look forward to the chance to put this experience to use with the Paediatric society by collaborating with other univeristy societies and organisations like schools to promote events.
