Daniel Sanmuganathan

Hello! I’m Daniel, and I am running to be your Academic Officer for Clinical Years!

I’m highly interested in respiratory medicine, and have teaching experience hosting a talk in MedEd, and ICSM Cardiovascular Society. Additionally, as president of ICSM Endocrinology Society, I’m involved in organising a conference with UCL’s Endocrinology Society, similarly to what ICSM Respiratory and UCL Respiratory Society did this year.

My aims as Academic Officer:

• Create a student-led lecture series, focusing on high yield clinical content of important respiratory conditions and their presentation, investigations, and management.
• Assist with the conference, recruiting speakers, & organising communication channels by emails.
• Organising networking events with experienced respiratory physicians, to encourage students to explore the field of respiratory medicine, engage in research, and build professional connections.
