Plastic Surgery: Emergencies in Plastics Conference Chair

We’re Chirag and Marya, and we’re thrilled to run for Conference Chairs for EIP! We want to push boundaries and explore the future of emergency plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a focus on maxillofacial trauma.

Our goals:

Specialist-led, hands-on workshops – Practical sessions on Facial Nerve Reconstruction & Dynamic Reanimation, ORIF of Mandibular Fractures, and Emergency Airway Management in Facial Trauma.
Stronger publicity & outreach – Engaging social media content, strategic marketing, networking opportunities, and high-impact promotional videos to boost participation.
Maximising workshop value – Launching a pre-conference workshop and stratifying suturing experience levels to ensure tailored, high-quality training for all delegates.
Partnering with the British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (BAOMS) to enhance opportunities for delegates.

Together, we bring a wealth of experience. Marya has worked extensively in event coordination and publicity through her roles in WinSAA, the Transplant & Vascular Society, and iPRAS, while I have had experience in surgical education, sponsorship acquisition, and leadership across iPRAS, SurgSoc, and MedEd initiatives. Our combined strengths in organisation, outreach, and sponsorship mean we’re ready to take this conference to new heights.
