Lifestyle Medicine and Prevention : Events Officer

I am thrilled to be a part of the Lifestyle Medicine and Prevention Society and would love to further my passion for LMAP alongside fellow Imperial students on the committee. I am excited to apply for the role of Events Officer, delivering dynamic and impactful events that inspire students to integrate lifestyle medicine into their future practice, ensuring that LMAP becomes a leading student society in 2025/6.

I have experience in organizing conferences, collaborative events, and workshops, bringing together thought-provoking speakers, experts, and clinicians to share insights and inspire students. I have successfully led large events, ensuring smooth logistics, strong engagement, and meaningful impact, and I would bring these skills to the Events Officer role.

By integrating nutrition, physical activity, and wellbeing into engaging, practical sessions, I aim to make LMAP accessible and relevant to all medical students. Through cross-disciplinary collaborations with societies focused on public health, nutrition, sports and exercise medicine, and technology, I hope to expand LMAP’s reach and engagement at Imperial. I would love to organize an annual lifestyle medicine summit, connecting students with industry leaders, healthcare professionals, and cutting-edge research, as well as develop a mentorship program linking students with experts in lifestyle medicine, preventative healthcare, and innovation to help shape the future of healthcare.
