Michael Porat-Bachmutsky

Hey all, I am Michael Porat, a first year undergraduate in materials science and engineering, and I believe I should be your next social secretary. I have been coming to every Monday boardgames session for the few months, and have gone to most MTG sessions and BOTC sessions. I am also an experienced DM for DnD (and some other TTRPGs) and am in the process of making my own TTRPG based around cryptozoology.
As social secretary, I would be very active and listen to feedback. I will work to organise events like: guest visits, board game cafe trips, boardgame tournaments, MTG tournaments and drafts, LARP, and even possibly some sort of murder mystery dinner or escape room. In addition to this, I would like to work with other societies to run some events.
I will also create an event request form so that if you think of anything that would be fun, I can try to organise it!
There are events I have in mind as well, but to find out about those I will need to be voted in.
