Sean Jang

Hi everyone, I’m Sean Jang, a first-year Aeronautics student and I am running for head of boardgames for tabletop gaming. I’ve been coming to all Monday boardgames and Friday BOTC sessions when available and have been involved in these sessions, such as filling in as the storyteller for BOTC games recently. I’ve constantly been learning and trying games I have never played before and I think this is one of the best parts of these sessions. The current list shows that the society has over 200 board games, and I believe a more in-depth list with information such as similar games, genres, difficulty and game length would help people to easily discover new games they would enjoy. I also think there could be more events run throughout the year, such as visits to board game cafes and tournaments. I’ve been involved in similar roles before such as acting as treasurer for a tutoring organisation and I believe my skills from then prove that I would be a good fit for this position.
