Joelle Seng

Hi! My name is Joelle, currently in y2 studying biomed :)

I have always been fascinated by how coding intersects with biology, and this society has deepened my interest by applying computational skills to real-world research and industry expereinces.

As industry liason officer, I am confident in my communication skills. Having organised events with other societies and served as primary point of contact for sponsors, speakers and alumni, I believe I can bring this experience to our society by inviting inspiring speakers from fields such as research, technology, data science etc to engage with our members. Beyond this, I want to foster stronger connections between computational biology students across London/UK universities by organizing networking events or a collaborative career fair, expanding our society’s reach and opportunities.
