Clement Dusserre Cordonnier
Hey everyone! I’m Clement, 2nd year med student, and I’m truly excited to be running for Early Years Rep of the General Practice Society!!
As soon as I saw this post, I knew it had my name written all over it (mostly because I saw it and instantly clicked APPLY)...
It’s honestly in my blood! Having a GP as a parent, and seeing how fulfilling and dynamic the job can be has definitely inspired me to pursue it myself. My work experience with GPs has been amazing, and it’s only made me more excited to share everything I’ve learned with you.
As Early Years Rep, this post is the perfect blend of doing something I love (General Practise), with the people I love working with (my eventual successors). I want to make sure that first-years are inspired, and know how to get invovled! Ideally, we'll create a space where we can chat about the unique and rewarding aspects of being a GP and where no one feels pressured to make career decisions too soon. I’d also love to increase awareness of career paths early on, helping everyone explore all the options out there. By providing the tools and resources to dive into these paths, I hope to spark curiosity and help you discover your true passion – even if it’s something you hadn’t thought of yet!
I’d be honoured to have your vote – let’s explore this journey together!
