Radiology Society: Chair

Hey everyone! I’m Adam, your current Radiology Society Secretary and 3rd year medic, and I’m super excited to put myself forward for the role of Chair.

My passion for radiology began way back in year 12 during my time on an interventional neuroradiology ward. I found myself captivated by the combination of precision, innovation and enhanced patient outcomes this field offers.

Serving as your Secretary this year has given me invaluable experience in organising & hosting events, supporting the committee, and handling behind-the-scenes tasks to keep everything running smoothly. I also love any excuse to make a Qualtrics survey so I’ve gained lots of experience with that too! Now, I want to give back to our community by fostering a collaborative and enriching environment where everyone can thrive and engage with this exciting field.

My aims:

  • Fun stuff - weekly image interpretations/case of the month and social events.
  • Opportunities - networking, mentorship & buddy schemes.
  • Education - expanding careers & teaching series with connections formed as Sec.
  • Partnership - with other societies & teleradiology companies (including in-person visits and tours - in the pipeline from my work as Sec so watch this space!).

I’m eager to serve the society, and with your support, I am confident we can build on our successes and reach new heights!

Thank you for your time & consideration, I hope I’ve earned your vote!
