Charles Ramos

Hi FiliSoc! I’m Charles and I’m a second year undergraduate studying chemistry.

I’m running for treasurer because I want to be part of next year’s committee and ensure it remains alive and thriving! Being part of this society over the last two years has made my Imperial experience better by everyone being so wholesome and fun with every event I’ve been to. I want to simply give back so other members will feel the same.

If elected, I will oversee all the pounds, pennies and pesos that goes in and out of the FiliSoc bank account that they may be protected and used in the best interest of the society (and more of it goes in than out in the end!).

The money will go to causes that will help FiliSoc be a more enjoyable, fruitful and rewarding experience for all. Hopefully we can bring in new fun events, and have funds to continue the ones that everyone loves!

Furthermore, I believe I have a good handle with organisation, spreadsheets, and budgeting so the finances will be in safe hands.

I’ll also try to expand our connections with Filipino businesses in the area to ensure that being part of this society reaps the best so we can grow bigger, better and stronger and make the most studying in London.
