Already have your IC Hack 26 team? If you are as excited for next year’s IC Hack as I am, you won’t be disappointed if you elect me as your Hackathons Coordinator!!

This year I was your Marketing & Publicity Officer and IC Hack Design & Branding Team Lead, and the weeks leading up to the beginning of February were the highlight of my year. Working with all the amazing people who helped bring the event together was so rewarding, which is why I am running for this position.

If you volunteered at IC Hack in the past, you know the shifts, especially during the night, can be long and tiring, so one of my main goals for next year is to improve the volunteer experience so volunteers can look forward to the event just as much as hackers. I also think introducing workshops and even more mini-competitions to cheer you up if your project isn’t going as planned will make the event so much more engaging.

I want to emphasise feedback & transparency next year, making sure students feel DoCSoc is organising events they can enjoy and benefit from, so let’s start now! If you see me around feel free to say hi and ask any questions or share your suggestions. :)
