Plastic Surgery: Sponsorship Officer

Hi, I'm Ayesha and I would love the opportunity to be Sponsorship Officer for Plastic Surgery Society. Plastic Surgery Society is a highly exciting and effective avenue for persuing this specialty whilst in Medical School - whether it is for those who are focused on the career or those with an interest in the subject itself. With the broad range of opportunities that this society offers, obtaining sponsorship is vital to providing access to as many students as possible.

Last year, I raised £1,500 for Refugee Action and the Ajyal Foundation. This experience gave me skills in managing money and promotion, alongside building strong relationships with stakeholders of a particular cause. I would endeavour to use these skills to effectively obtain reliable, broad and strong sponsorship opportunities for the society. Some of my priorities as Sponsorship Officer would be:

Ensuring diversity in the areas in which we obtain sponsorship from, as I feel diversity in our sponsorship partnerships will influence diversity in a variety of aspects within the society.

Focusing on building long-term relationships with sponsors outside of funding agreements in order to create longevity for these relationships for the society. Effective sponsorship depend on both mutual beneficence and I will highlight what Plastic Surgery is able to offer in order to ensure stability.

With your vote, I would love to help make Plastics Surgery Sponsorships dependable, effective and long-lasting in order to ensure a society that is as accessible and valuable as possible.
