Hey everyone! I’m Dhruvit Modi, a third-year medic, and I’m excited to run for Vice President of Finance for the Imperial College Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Society.
Having served as Sponsorship Officer and Treasurer, I’ve developed skills in budgeting, securing funding, and managing finances to support the society’s growth.
As Treasurer, I:

Created detailed budgets and managed finances with KCL for the paediatric conference.

Helped with ticket sales, sponsorships, and reimbursement claims.

Secured a £420 grant from St Mary’s for the microsurgery conference, funding new loupes and equipment.

Gained sponsorship experience through iPRAS and the Trauma Conference, negotiating with companies and handling contracts.
As VP Finance, I aim to:

Support conference chairs with budgeting and efficient financial tracking.

Seek and apply for funding opportunities to subsidise costs and enhance events.

Maintain transparent financial records to keep the committee informed.

Streamline sponsorship processes to make funding stress-free.
