My name is Adam Gao, and I am passionate about creating an Alumni Mentorship Program within DOCSOC—connecting students with industry leaders who once stood where we are now, just as confused as we were when they first heard the word monad in Huxley 308.

I also want to bring more opportunities to our community, including:

• Newtorking/recruiting opportunity events by top-tier companies for postgraduate students.
• Tech talks and fireside chats, intimate discussions with alumni about career transitions and industry trends.
• Social events for postgrad and alumni alike.
