Hi! I'm Fiona and I'm running for the position of Operations Manager and Secretary.

Dessoc delivers incredible events—both academic and social. As Operations Manager and Secretary, I will ensure that the visions of the committee are carried through to create the most meaningful events for all the members of the society.

With experience in organisation as both a managing director of Young Enterprise and as wellbeing representative of DE1, I am adept at taking responsibility in forming timelines and keeping things going in good order. My strengths lie in organisation and communication. Making sure that projects stay on track, deadlines are met, and communication is clear are my priorities. My role will be to transform ideas into action, making sure they don’t just remain concepts but turn into real, tangible results. However, I also believe in efficiency without rigidity so that while maintaining progress, everyone can feel the flexbility in their own roles.

Collaboration is key to a well functioning society. I will ensure that every voice is heard, decisions are made with clarity and consensus, and our collective efforts can benefit you.
