Hi everyone! I’m Reno, a 3rd-year medical student, and I’m running to be your next Social Captain.
Having been part of IC Badminton since my first year, I’ve enjoyed every moment with the badminton community. I started playing regularly when I joined uni, and now, I'd like the privilege to lead a badminton team to success in a competitive league.
I’ve been actively involved in the committee as Treasurer last year and Secretary this year, so I understand the responsibilities of the role. I’ve worked closely with the current Social Captain and know what it takes to organise matches, schedule games with other universities, and ensure LUSL league fixtures run smoothly. My strong organisational skills and experience will help keep everything running seamlessly.
Beyond competitions, I want to maintain the great atmosphere we have at social sessions and organise fun events to bring everyone together. Whether you’re here to compete or just enjoy the sport, I’ll make sure everyone feels welcome and included.
