My name is Mohamed, and I’m running for Head of Editorial at the Investment Society.

My Experience:

• Writer, Imperial Insights Newsletter – Contributed to the publication and gained firsthand insight into editorial operations.
• Founder & President, Imperial Transplant and Vascular Society – Built a society from the ground up, now with 400+ members and a 15-person committee. Managing content and ensuring quality in our initiatives has sharpened my editorial and leadership skills.
• Project Manager, Imperial Consulting Group – Led a team of five consultants, delivering a structured, high-quality report for a client. This experience in coordinating teams and maintaining professional standards directly translates to managing editorial responsibilities.

What I Will Do as Head of Editorial:

• Expand Alumni Insights – Formalise a structured Alumni Q&A series, featuring industry professionals sharing career insights and lessons learned.
• Introduce a Monthly Market Deep Dive – Alongside regular updates, publish a concise but in-depth feature each month on a key financial trend, major deal, or economic shift, ensuring students stay commercially aware.
• Enhance Publishing Standards – Implement editorial reviews and peer feedback to improve research depth, clarity, and professionalism in our articles.
• Boost Engagement & Visibility – Work with the tech team to improve formatting and integrate content better with the society’s website and LinkedIn for greater visibility.
• Revamp the Imperial Insights Mailing List – Enhance structure and design for a more engaging newsletter with better integration of alumni insights and student contributions.
