ICSM RAG events are the backbone of our student experience—bringing people together for a good cause, questionable decisions, and stories you probably don’t want resurfacing in six years time. Having gone full circle (literally) on Circle Line and battling it out at Gladiator Sports Night, I know firsthand how iconic these events are. I’d love to be on the other side, helping organise them so everyone else can enjoy the chaos just as much as I did!
Spending five months volunteering at Barnardo’s taught me how to work under pressure, solve problems within a team, and adapt to situiations where things are starting to go off-track, which I'm sure will all come in handy when planning these big events (harder than keeping a charity shop in order).I genuinely enjoy and find it so rewarding organising fun events, especially with other people, whether it’s brainstorming ideas, sorting logistics, or making sure everything runs smoothly (or at least as smoothly as possible when there’s a pub crawl involved). I’m proactive, adaptable, and ready to tackle the logistics, hype people up, and bring fresh ideas to make ICSM RAG’s events even bigger and better.
RAG is all about raising spirits (in every sense of the word) while making a real difference, and I’d love to be part of the team that keeps the tradition alive. If you want someone who’s organised, enthusiastic, and always ready to go the extra stop—vote for me! Let's make next year known for having THE BEST RAG events
