Anjali Mahapatra

Hi I'm Anjali!

I'm currently a 4th year medical student. I have a longstanding interest in the acute care specialties which led me to choose the Anaesthetics and Critical Care BSc. Through this I have gained a deeper insight into the management of critically ill patients in intensive care and the pioneering research taking place in this field. Additionally, by attending the John Vogel lecture series I have strengthened my understanding of the physiology that underpins this specialty.

I am eager to increase exposure and encourage interest in intensive care among medical students by organising workshops and inviting guest speakers. I enjoy working in a collaborative environment and would love the opportunity to be part of a committee that shares my enthusiasm for critical care!

Through this role I hope to inspire others to explore this innovative specialty and I look forward to the possibility of making a meaningful impact within the society!
