The brain is the most intricate organ, and the Meeting of the Minds (MOTM) conference should be just as complex and impactful. As someone deeply invested in neuroscience—through both research and clinical engagement—I am ready to take the MOTM to new heights as Conference Chair.
Currently, I’m working on a project investigating the effects of hypervigilance on vestibular perception and processing, which has deepened my understanding of neuroscience’s impact on both cognition and behaviour. This research mindset, combined with my passion for pushing boundaries, will fuel my vision for this prestigious conference.
If elected, my goals as Conference Chair will be to:
- Curate an exceptional, interdisciplinary lineup of keynote speakers, including world-renowned neuroscientists, clinicians, and innovators in neurotechnology, to inspire and challenge attendees.
- Provide more interactive sessions, including workshops and panel discussions, where attendees not only listen but engage, collaborate, and learn.
- Ensure the conference becomes a more inclusive space, welcoming students from all backgrounds to share their research, network with professionals, and create lasting connections.
- Expand the scope of the conference to include more emerging fields of neuroscience, such as neurotechnology and neuroethics, while ensuring the event reflects the diversity of the field itself.
If you want a bolder, more ambitious, and visionary conference, vote for me as Conference Chair. Let’s make MOTM an event that truly shapes the future of neuroscience.
