Hey, I’m Soma and I would love to have your vote for men’s competitive swim captain. I have been a member of ICSWP for the last 2 years and I have thoroughly enjoyed training with and competing for Imperial.

I have been swimming competitively for the last 13 years, which has allowed me to develop relevant skills required for this role. I have competed in 4 BUCS and went with the team to BUSL national finals last year (and only ripped my tech suit twice), which has allowed me to understand how to organise transport and accommodation for these meets and ensure these meets run smoothly. I also promise I will use my immaculate rizz to get us the best deal possible for the hotel in Sheffield.

As your men’s swimming captain, as well as working with the women’s captain to organise BUCS, I would try to make swimming as inclusive and social as possible to make sure all newcomers feel welcomed. I have always enjoyed attending sports nights and would like to ensure the swimmers are in full attendance every week ;).
