Hello lovelies,
I would love to be next year’s Early Years Education Officer and ensure to help our younger years thrive academically, not just during dreaded ðŸ˜exam seasonðŸ˜, but throughout the whole year! Despite attending more Sports Nights, Ministry Tuesdays and Union Fridays than James Pease lectures 😵💫, I got a distinction first year 🥳 and attribute much of this to educational support from the phenomenal Netball older years (special mention to Shannon who answered my constant stream of questions over Easter). This society is so much more than just a sports club, supporting everyone to succeed in all aspects of university 😊. We can all relate to how daunting the difference between school and university is and I hope to help with this transition as much as possible. This would include:
👩🎓Tutorials covering all sections of each module
👩🎓CPA teaching and mocks
👩🎓Study Guidebooks and Resource Guides for each module
👩🎓Sharing my uni OneNote. This is my literal life and soul, containing hand-written notes encompassing all the knowledge you could need in an exam
👩🎓Exam-specific guides over Easter and before each mock
👩🎓Tips on how to maintain a healthy work-life balance
👩🎓Being a permanent point of contact for anyone needed support with academic, and even general, stresses of university via group chats made for each year and private messages
👩🎓Academics-related emails at the start and end of each term
I hope that you feel I can support our younger years on their med school journey as this would mean the world.
Lots of love,
Ani xxx
