I'm Hrutika and I am excited to run for the position of President of Imperial Jain Society. Having served as the First-Year Representative this past year, I have been actively involved in organising events, engaging with members, and growing our society. My deep-rooted connection with the Jain community has shaped my values and given me a strong foundation to lead this society forward. Additionally, my involvement with Jain Student Association (JSA) has provided me with valuable insights into how we can connect with other Jain societies nationally and make our society even stronger.

My Vision:

My goal as President is to make Jain Society a thriving and welcoming space for all students, whether they are Jain or simply interested in learning about Jainism. I want to create an inclusive community where we celebrate our faith, traditions, and values in a way that resonates with university students.

My Goals as President:

• Exciting & Engaging Events: From interactive discussions and social gatherings to insightful talks with renowned Jain speakers, I will ensure we have a diverse range of activities that appeal to all members.
• Stronger Community Connections: Collaborating with other Jain societies to create larger, more impactful events.
• More Opportunities for Service (Seva): Organising initiatives such as food drives and volunteering events to encourage the spirit of giving and non-violence (Ahimsa) within our community.
