Zainab Chowdhury

Hello! I’m Zainab, a third year medic, and I’m so excited to run for Vice President of Marketing for Psychiatry Society! I’m very passionate about psychiatry and believe that strong marketing is key to making future events bigger, better, and more accessible to students.

As Publicity Officer for Muslim Medics, I managed social media campaigns, promoted events, and engaged students, which helped me develop strong time management and communication skills. Working closely with different committee members taught me how to collaborate effectively and balance multiple tasks - skills that I would bring to this role. If elected as VP of marketing, I will enhance our social media presence with interactive content through Instagram stories or feed posts, improve event marketing through eye-catching visual posters and targeted engagement strategies, and collaborate with other societies and potential psychiatry charity organisations to expand our reach.

I would love the chance to help grow Psychiatry Society’s presence and engagement this year as VP of Marketing!
