Joshini Jeyaprakash

Hi I’m Joshini, a third year medical student!

After being a part of the Paediatrics Conference subcommittee, I saw how supportive and welcoming this society is, and I would love the opportunity to contribute further as Academic Officer. Having been involved in Oncology Society and SORA subcommittees, where I helped run teaching sessions, speaker events and conferences, I believe that I have the necessary skills to take on this role. My previous roles have equipped me with strong planning, teamwork and organisational skills that are transferable to being Academic Officer. If elected, I aim to create engaging and accessible learning opportunities, through teaching sessions, revision resources and speaker events. My goal is to create events that support students at all levels of interest in paediatrics!

I look forward to the chance to contribute and help make paediatrics more engaging for everyone!
