Hello!

My name is Sachi and I’m a 4th year medic currently doing the Gastro and Hep BSc!

I’m running for Publicity Officer and would be extremely grateful for your vote! Having advertised several events as a Surg Soc Gen Exec and as Nutritank President, I’ve gained experience in lots of publicity and promo. I understand the impact effective publicity and reaching the right audience can have an impact on a society’s presence and engagement with events, and would love to help maximise this for the Gastro Hep Society !

I’m comfortable with Canva and confident in creating eye-catching and aesthetic Instagram posts that get engage people. My goal is to make the society’s social presence more active, exciting, and informative, ensuring everyone stays updated on upcoming events, opportunities, and interesting gastro/hepatology content.

I'm currently doing the BSc in gastro and hep, so I’m genuinely passionate about the field and want to help grow the society. I would love to work with the rest of commitee, particularly the Events and Education Officers to showcase the amazing things they organise and make sure our members don’t miss out! I also want to increase engagement by making content more interactive—polls, quizzes, myth-busting posts—so that members feel more connected to the society beyond just events.
