Hi, I’m Tom!

In my journey at ICBC, I have consistently found the advice from those with more experience invaluable. Whether that be coaches, alumni or older students, their insights have been incredibly useful to me and that’s why I'll be running to be your Alumni Officer for the 2025/26 season. As I am moving into my 4th year, I will be one of the oldest in the club (unc?), so I know quite a few of the graduates from the past three years. This will help me in communication and running events so that we can strengthen our relations with our alumni.

As your Alumni Officer, organising and running the alumni drinks event before Annual Dinner will be one of my main tasks. Fortunately I am an organised person, balancing my Geology degree with rowing for the past 3 years. I plan on offering plenty of drinks so the alumni purchase all the raffle tickets, making enough profit in order to make trips like training camp cheaper for you. On that note, I plan on working with the Kit Officer to create inflated prices for the alumni, making more profit and again providing more benefit for you during future events.

One of my favourite events at ICBC is the Henley barbecue, where alumni and current students meet and interact during the iconic event that is Henley Royal Regatta. This event will continue to make the ICBC network valuable for everyone involved, uniting our ICBC rowers past and present!
