Tushar Arun

I am running for academic officer to make PsychSoc an education powerhouse that provides more leadership, learning, and networking opportunities for all members.

I will introduce member-led events and teaching sessions, helping motivated members to also develop leadership and teamwork skills while building strong portfolios. I aim to expand exposure to psychiatry sub-specialities, including CAMHS, neuropsychiatry, forensic psychiatry, and psychotherapy, while strengthening collaborations with healthcare, industry, and other societies.

I will establish a journal club and mentoring scheme, as well as regular consultant-led talks on research papers. I will also expand our education series with more workshops and engaging clinical teaching.
