Delisha Rusia

Hi everyone, I'm Delisha, and I'm excited to be running for Secretary this year!

Since clinical genetics is such a rapidly evolving field, I have been interested in its impact on medicine, research, and patient care. I would love to contribute by ensuring the society runs smoothly and remains an engaging space for anyone interested in this field.

My experience planning large scale events through Hindu Society and being on committee for Imperial Skate Society has equipped me with strong organisational and communication skills, and so I understand the importance of efficent teamwork and handling logistics to ensure smooth event organisation. I am planning on integrating these skills I have developed into my work for this society. As Secretary, I aim to ensure efficient communication by managing the society’s email and keeping members updated with timely information about events, talks, and opportunities. I plan on strengthening collaborations by helping to coordinate partnerships with other societies to expand learning/networking opportunities.
