Heya !! I'm Angie, I've been your equipment officer this year. I've seen the financial side of iPRAS's inner-workings and feel well positioned to be more involved and manage the society's money itself. I've been in many positions handling money; from tasks such as writing EBs and raising POs to smaller jobs such as sponsorship contracts and PDQ applications.

Things I'd like to ensure for iPRAS's financial health next year:

Sustainable Financial Training

• Committee members are able to submit valid POs + claims (i.e. good documentation and within the required timeframe) so that no one pays huge sums of money out of pocket and tries to get it back through claims later. This ensures streamlined audit trails and not only will members get their money back promptly, but the society too, through valid VAT receipting.

Detailed Budgeting

• With the new annual budgeting system, it is now even more important to make note of what the society is spending money on and from which source. I will document EBs well for more accurate membership goal estimations and grant allocation requests for the next year.

Stash !!!!!!!!!!!!

• With committee stash around the corner for this year, I'd like to branch out to all members next year, and work with next year's equipment officer to provide stash for everyone! With previous experience in setting up shop products and knowledge in tax codes, I am well placed to introduce a brand new stashalogue for iPRAS.
